Eddie Harvey

Co-founderr
CEO

Eddie is co-founder of Docwize. A data enthusiast and specialist, Eddie has been the leading architect for various systems, including Docwize. Over the past 15 years, Eddie has built on his legal background by performing the role of Project Leader for information management on numerous major international court cases and legal disputes. When he is not at the forefront of developing software solutions like Docwize, Eddie is an avid rock climber,
enjoys being an active member of the Mountain Club of South Africa and is passionate about photography. 

Celia Maritz

Co-founder
Finance Manager

A qualified attorney, Celia is also the co-founder of Docwize. Her main responsibilities include setting the overall strategy and seeing to the daily running of H & M Information Management. A woman of many strengths, Celia also is the project leader for Docwize implementations and oversees the legal processing work that we do. Celia has led numerous implementations of Docwize, including on the Gautrain Project, Medupi and Kusile Power Stations and on many large court cases. When Celia has time to kill, you will find her playing with her dogs, working in the garden or preparing for the next Parkrun. 

Simon Harvey

CIO

Simon is a mechanical engineer and is the lead system architect for Docwize. Simon’s expertise is in simulations, electronics and AI. Simon is passionate about long distance running and cycling.

Dian heads-up our application and interface development. He completed a diploma in 
Electrical Engineering Cum Laude. 

Bernie Theron

Head of Operations

Bernie is the lead on Docwize implementations based in Cape Town. He is a SQL developer with an Honours degree in Political Science from the University of Pretoria. He also completed an Operations Management course at the University of Cape Town. Bernie is an accomplished adventurer and rock climber. He completed multiple expeditions including a solo unsupported hike across Iceland. 

Juan van Wyk

Head of Infrastructure & Senior Developer

With a wealth of expertise in managing IT services and infrastructure, Juan oversees the Docwize Support Services division and our Canadian joint venture in Alberta. As a senior developer, Juan further plays a vital role in the continuous development of the Docwize solution. When Juan is not fuelling his passion by researching new technologies, he is exploring the Canadian outdoors. 

Matthias Harvey

AI specialist

Matthias has a passion for mathematics, science, and software development. He completed a Master of Design in Computer Science degree from Kyushu University, Japan. This followed a BSc Computer Science and Honours degree from University of Pretoria, South Africa, both cum laude. Matthias is fluent in Japanese. His interests include specialty coffee and a deep understanding of everything!

Francois 

Senior Developer 

Francois is a problem-solving enthusiast with a passion for software engineering, machine learning, embedded systems and IoT applications. He is a senior developer at H&M responsible for backend and API development. Francois holds a BEng Computer Engineering degree from the University of Pretoria. He loves hiking and cross-fit.

Constance 

Office Manager

Constance brings years of financial management experience to the Docwize team. With substantial experience in banking, Constance has held roles that involved Risk Management, Financial reporting, and Accounting. Some of her main responsibilities at H & M Information Management include coordinating financial operations as well as revenue collection. Currently completing her MBA, Constance also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Queen Mosoathupa

Document Controller

Queen is quick and accurate! She assists with data capturing and data clean-up. She also assists clients with document control. She uses her free time productively by doing cardio workouts, spending time with friends and family and reading.

Marilie Carstens

Senior Analyst

Marilie completed a B.Sc. and Masters in Environmental Management (both cum laude). She is a GIS and Business Intelligence specialist and a senior SQL developer. Marilie is also the proud mother of 2 beautiful children.
